Meet Isobelle and Janette

Ivy Leigh Florist is a family-run florist located in The Gap Village Shopping Centre in Brisbane. We're Isobelle and Janette, and The Gap is home for both of us.

We started Ivy Leigh Florist to bring fresh, beautifully made flowers to the community we live in. That means our neighbours, local schools and surrounding businesses.

Janette

Janette took a less usual path to flowers. She is a qualified veterinarian, and she trained as a florist in England.

Years of caring for animals gave her a calm, gentle touch and a deep respect for living things. She brings the same care to every stem, choosing and handling each flower so it looks its best and lasts as long as possible.

Isobelle

Before moving into floristry, Isobelle trained as a bespoke cabinet maker in the UK. Her work included fit-outs for superyachts, where every joint and finish had to be perfect.

She brings that same eye for detail, shape and balance to our flowers. Whether it's a single bouquet or a large display, Isobelle makes sure every piece is built to impress.

As locals, we love being part of life in The Gap. We deliver locally, so your flowers arrive fresh and are handled with care from our hands to your door.

Alongside our everyday bouquets, corsages and flower hampers, we're growing our work in:
